Optimize Performance Through Repair Planning Workshop
In simple terms, the 80/20 principle states that a minority of inputs or effort usually leads to the majority of the results. In Collision Repair, we see this principle at work with both positive and negative implications. The way that shops load their production systems has a direct impact on their success or failure. Quality is no longer a differentiator. It is required and is simply the price of admission. Costs can be described in competitive terms. In most cases, being competitively priced is also a requirement. That leaves Speed as the component which offers the greatest potential to stand out from your competitors.
By utilizing the Repair Planning process a Collision Repair Shop has the potential to deliver improved performance which will benefit each and every stakeholder involved. Successful Repair Planning is a substantial benefit even for those who are not participating in DRP's and subject to the "Cycle Time Clock".
The Workshop Includes:
- Explanation of the impact that the traditional estimating process has on work flow in your collision business.
- Knowledge of the benefits to the business for those who can successfully implement Repair Planning
- Detailed instruction on the Repair Planning Process
- "To Do's" and "To Don'ts" for successful implementation based on over a decade's worth of work with Collision Repair centers.
- And Much More.

From my perspective
We must fully utilize our greatest resources to their full potential. Having the ability to mobilize a highly effective workforce will greatly determine the measure of our success. The best processes still require engaged people. Focused leaders have the ability to bring these two key elements together successfully.
